Luncheon Event

If These Walls Could Talk:

A Luncheon benefitting Open Door Ministries

We celebrated a record crowd of close to 400 people on March 19 at the High Point Country Club.

Thank you to Michael Mabe and Tyeesha Tibbs for sharing their stories with us.  Michael graduated from our Arthur Cassell Transitional Housing program and is now on his own and paying it forward.  Tyeesha now has an apartment and a job, having successfully been a client of our Rapid ReHousing program.

Congratulations to David Thompson, first winner of the Stephen B. Key Award for Board Member Excellence, and to Barbara Coughlin, John Yowell Good Samaritan Award winner! Both are wonderful supporters of Open Door Ministries in so many ways.

Steve Key was honored for his 30th year with Open Door.  In addition to the new award named in his honor, a video tribute was compiled with remarks from community leaders and supporters.
