ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

(Part-time No Benefits)

 

Open Door Ministries of High Point seeks a qualified person to be responsible for handling the daily administrative functions of Open Door Ministries, performing various duties for the Executive Director, and serving in an administrative capacity for the Board of Directors.  Duties include but not limited to:  oversee the daily activities of Open Door Ministries’ administrative office; assist with deposits and processing invoices for payment; coordinate  the maintenance of office equipment and ordering office supplies; responsible for communicating with telephone company in regards to phone issues; maintain vehicle maintenance records and registrations; responsible for communication with insurance companies, insurance renewals and filing claims; receive visitors and provides tours as requested; record in-kind donations and sends acknowledgements; respond to routine correspondence and requests from the community on behalf of the Executive Director; assist Executive Director with grant submissions and providing supporting documents; attend and participate in staff meetings; maintain permanent records and files; complete and mail various reports to local, state and federal agencies; receive and respond to concerns or complaints from clients, donors or concerned citizens; attend Board of Director meetings and serves as recording secretary to the Board of Directors; coordinate Board meetings and communicates with the Board of Directors; perform administrative duties for the Board Chair and Committee Chairs; maintain Board rosters and Board of Directors manual; comply with Open Door Ministries’ policies and procedures; practice effective time management; and follow confidentiality policies and procedures of information pertaining to clients.

 

Qualifications
